Welcome to The Friends
of Bath Cats and Dogs Home
The Friends is an independent Charity dedicated to raising funds for the development of facilities at the Bath Cats and Dogs Home, including the provision of Veterinary Care at the Home, and also supports other regional animal welfare programmes.
For over 65 years Bath Cats and Dogs Home has provided vital shelter, care and re-homing services for local animals in need of help whilst following a non-destructive policy. Although the Home is affiliated to the national RSPCA, it does not receive either financial support from them for its running costs, or lottery or state aid and relies totally on fundraising, donations and legacies to continue its vital work.
The Friends hold events to raise funds on the first Sunday of each month and refreshments are always provided. We have always been touched and gratified by the tremendous support these events attract from the people of Bath and surrounding areas.
